
The 2008 Planting season was the beginning of El Campo's proposed expansion. With this initial 45 acre installation, El Campo looks to bring family-owned olive growing to the Madera County area.
The HDP meathod of planting utilized by El Campo Olive Ranch makes the planting process a quick and efficient task without the use of large equipment. They are planted in a trellised like grape vineyard, farmed
like wine grapes and harvested with mechanical grape harvesters. As seen in the videos below, the planting process involves only about 25 seconds per plant with the plant being placed about half way between the pot and the bud.
